What are services like?
We follow a traditional United Methodist liturgy. We encourage the sharing of prayer concerns and joys.

What is the community like?
We are truly a multi-generational congregation. our members represent a wide range of occupations from graduate students, to appliance repairmen, to nurses, to farmers. We feel that our diversity is our strength. We are in a rural setting and feel a strong connection to the land and a strong commitment to our community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are not a Christian you are definitely welcome to come and see what it is like to experience the love of Christ in real ways with the people who worship here.

Leadership

Jim Jones

Our pastor is a second career pastor having served as a regional sales representative of medical research products and the owner and manager of a rental equipment business in Siler City, NC. He entered seminary at Duke University in 2007 where he served as a student pastor for four years serving Lea's Chapel UMC in Roxboro, NC. After graduation, he was assigned to Mount Pleasant UMC and has been here since July of 2011.
