What to Expect

What are services like?
Our Saturday 5:30pm worship and Sunday 8am Worship are traditional Lutheran liturgy with congregational singing often led by choir and organ. The Sunday 10:30am worship is more experimental and mostly uses piano and/or band to lead congregational singing. None of the worship services have a dress code.

What is the community like?
The church community is very diverse in terms of political and theological understandings. Mount Olive is a collection of Christians from throughout the United States who worship, learn, and live together. No matter what your understanding of God you will both be affirmed and challenged here. We do not expect that all will see the world exactly the same and seek to live out our calling as disciples using our unique gifts as individuals living in community.
