I attended your services in the past. I attended your service on 9/14/25.
Here is my free speech to you.
I am sad to hear a christian leader, you, supports Charlie Kirk and his Turning Point organization. I in no way support assassination or denying free speech privileges that we have in this country.
Why is it that people who disagree with our political leaders are attacked by defamation lawsuits, and careers are ruined because total loyalty to one man is not adhered to, i. e. Donald Trump? Free speech only for those who agree with our president has become the norm.
The Bible tells us that we cannot serve both God and money.
Please consider the following information before mixing political rhetoric with your sermons.
Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point website:
”Turning Point USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk. The organization’s mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government.”
AI web search assist:
“Charlie Kirk's net worth was estimated to be around $12 million at the time of his death. Charlie Kirk was an American political activist and the founder of Turning Point USA.
Known for his strong support of Donald Trump.”
Daily Mail quotes:
“At just 31, Charlie Kirk had amassed an estimated net worth of $12 million as the co-founder and chief executive of Turning Point USA, a group he built into one of the most prominent forces in conservative politics. His rise brought with it luxury homes, high-end travel, and multimillion-dollar properties. Last week, Kirk was shot dead while hosting a debate at Utah Valley University, an event that was part of TPUSA’s American Comeback Tour.
Despite its financial success, Turning Point’s political influence has been inconsistent. In Arizona, where the group is based, its hard-right candidates struggled in statewide races, including Kari Lake’s failed 2022 gubernatorial run. Founded in 2012 in suburban Chicago by Kirk and Tea Party activist William Montgomery, the group gained traction after 2016 when Kirk aligned himself with Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Contributions quickly escalated, reaching $79.2 million in 2022.
Public records and an Associated Press review of Turning Point’s finances reveal how Kirk benefitted personally as the organization expanded. His salary grew from $27,000 in 2016 to more than $407,000 by 2021. He also acquired a $4.75 million estate near Phoenix, a nearby apartment, and a beachfront condominium on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Since its founding, Turning Point has raised nearly a quarter of a billion dollars, supporting both its political operations and the lifestyles of its leadership.
Turning Point’s finances have faced criticism and investigation. An AP report found that at least $15.2 million was directed to companies linked to its leaders and associates. Some employees collected salaries in the high six figures while also receiving payments through affiliated businesses. The group also faced backlash after paying $2.4 million to Rally Forge, a firm accused of spreading misinformation about COVID-19 and election fraud during the 2020 campaign.
Kirk turned himself into a recognizable brand as much as a political organizer. He was a fixture on conservative television, a frequent speaker at major events, and a wealthy figure whose lifestyle mirrored that of the donors who backed him. In 2021, Turning Point sponsored his wedding reception at a luxury Scottsdale hotel, presenting it as both a celebration and a fundraiser.
Despite ongoing scrutiny, Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet defended the organization’s financial practices, calling its leaders 'good stewards of donor money' and arguing that Kirk and others were underpaid for their talents.”
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
“Kirk was recognized as one of the most prominent voices of the MAGA movement in the Republican Party.
Kirk became aligned with the Christian right and advocated for Christian nationalism.
Christian nationalism asserts that the United States is a country founded by and for Christians.[1] Christian nationalists in the United States advocate "a fusion of identitarian Christian identity and cultural conservatism with American civic belonging".[2]: 3–4 It has been noted to bear overlap with Christian fundamentalism, white supremacy,[3] Christian supremacy,[4] the Seven Mountain Mandate movement, and dominionism.[2]: 5 Most researchers have described Christian nationalism as "authoritarian" and "boundary-enforcing", but recent research has focused on how libertarian, small-government ideology and neoliberal political economics have become part of the American Christian political identity.”
