About Us
A small, open congregation in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte. Our worship services are guitar-led and mostly contemporary, but include a few traditional elements like a hymn or the Lord's Prayer. Sermons are often story-based and interactive. We love new faces - please join us anytime!

Mary Brown
Mary earned her B.A. in English from Emory University in Atlanta, GA and her Master of Divinity from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO. She grew up in a Methodist church and felt a call to ministry at a young age. Before coming to Morningstar Mary spent 7 years directing a backpacking ministry called Wilderness Trail. She loves hiking and snowboarding, but even more she loves her husband, 2-year-old daughter, and son on the way.Location & Directions
