About Us

Faithfully Serving God, Each Other, and The Community

We are a family oriented community, so be comfortable! Many folks dress casual, and you’ll likely see many of us in jeans and T-shirts. Some are more comfortable in dressing up a bit, and our Pastor often wears a coat and tie. This isn’t the expected style though, and we’re never judgmental about what people wear – we’re just happy you’re going to worship at Mogadore Christian Church!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our main worship service begins at 10:30 am. (Sunday School classes are finished around 10:20 am). Everyone is invited to gather for coffee, and there is tea, juice and water available, too. This popular social time begins every Sunday morning just after 10:00 am. We are a small, friendly church family and our doors are always open to you. Coffee time is a fun way to be introduced to new people, and it’s a great way to unwind before beginning the church service. If so desired, we encourage people to take a cup of coffee to their pew when the music starts. We are a warm, friendly and down to earth congregation. We want everyone to be relaxed and comfortable as we open our hearts and minds to God’s Word. To open the service, our small Praise Team leads us in singing 3-4 songs. Most of the congregation stands during this early part of worship, but several choose to remain seated and that works too. The 10:30 am worship service usually ends by 11:40 am. It seems to flow well, and feedback from visitors and “regulars” has helped us to keep the service fresh and meaningful from week to week.

What is the community like?
Mogadore Christian Church is in the heart of the village of Mogadore, on the corner of South Cleveland Avenue and Curtis Street. The church is especially easy to find, because of the unique location between the Mogadore High School and the local Dairy Queen! When you arrive, you’ll notice that we share the parking lot with the Mogadore High School. We love our School Board in Mogadore, and we have a very friendly relationship with the superintendent, principal and the teachers. You can drive into the parking lot from either Curtis Street or South Cleveland Avenue.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are more than welcome to attend to learn more about us and what a relationship with Jesus means to you.
