What to Expect

What are services like?
The Sunday School hour is informal. We are there to learn more about God and His word; not to judge others on appearance . We are a conservative SBC church so we sing a lot of the old-time songs, but if anyone wants to bring an accompaniment tape and sing a more modern song, that is encouraged.

What is the community like?
We are a rural church; however, we have folks coming from "the big city of Murfreesboro" as well as the surrounding area. You wont find a friendlier bunch anywhere! Everyone is truly welcome and if you leave without having had a hand shake or a hug, it is probably your own fault.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We are a Bible based, evangelical church who has two missions; one is to nurture the church and God's people, the other is to tell the world about the wonderful message of Jesus Christ and His saving grace. If you are not a Christian, but are a seeker, you have come to the right place. You will not be pressured into making any decisions, but will be taught and learn about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
