Miller Flats Assembly of God

I was raised ,dedicated and gave my heart to the Lord in this country church . It was a lot smaller than, but the peas were full. Sometimes the service would go to midnight because God was moving in so strongly there. This is the little church my parents and we three kids went to on Sunday morning and after Sunday school dad would always request for me to sing ."A little girl is waiting for her daddy." Tears in his eyes as I sang. This is where I learned about Jesus and about how much he loved me. This is the little church that the members would pray for me when I was sick, prayed for me when I opened the back door on our family car( suicide) door and fell out with the car traveling 70 mph. Wonderful church wonderful Christians. You definently felt God in this one room little country church. This is where we younger kids also found out that the grown ups would stick their old gum underneath the pew seats.🥴 So many good memories. I actually wrote a poem about Miller Flats down the dusty dirt road many years ago.
