Leadership
Charles Moore, Jr
I grew up in Prince George County; graduated from William and Mary College; Gordon-Conwell Seminary and Andover Newton Theological School. I was ordained in the Diocese of Massachusetts; worked as a campus chaplain, pastoral counselor, director of a mobile psychiatric outreach team. I developed and operated two pastoral counseling centers, worked as a licensed psychologist and forensic psychologist in several MA state mental hospitals. I became the rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Malden, MA in 2001 and served that parish for 9 years before assuming my present position as priest-in-charge at Merchants Hope Episcopal Church in April of 2010. I am married to Deborah, and have two adult children living in the Boston area. We presently live in Chester, VA.Location & Directions
