We believe the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and inerrant word of God. We believe that Christ is the only way to God. Jesus came as man to die upon the cross and through His shed blood one can have forgiveness of all sins and be declared righteous in the sight of God. Jesus rose from the dead and whosoever believes on Him will share His life.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services consist of singing hymns, special music, prayer, and an expository message from God's word.

What is the community like?
We express love to one another and to visitors. Members and regular attenders keep up with one another via emails, phone calls and regular fellowship. The months which have a fifth Sunday we have a covered dish fellowship lunch together.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Anyone, regardless of whether they are a Christian or not is welcome at MBC. Our desire it to reach out to everyone with the hope that they will come to know CHrist as Savior.

Leadership

Dr. Jay Jackson

Jay has been pastor at MBC since 2004. He also serves as a Biblical Counselor and executive director with the Wales Goebel Ministry. Jay received his BS degree in Christian Ed from Southeastern Bible College in 1979. In 2005 Jay earned a Masters in Christian Counseling from Luther Rice Seminary. Jay received a doctorate in Bible Studies from Masters International Divinity School in 2008. He and his wife Cindy have been married for 31 years and have three children and two grandchildren.
