Martha Road Baptist is a Southern Baptist Congregation. We are unique in that we are composed of a very young congregation. You will notice that there are many children in the church family as well. Martha Road considers our young families as a great blessing and we strive to provide ministries that benefit and equip the family. As our guest you are invited to join any of the existing programs that you feel would benefit you and or your family. Remember you are always welcome at Martha Road! You will notice when you are our guest that we are a casual attire church, that means "come as your are." We try not to get caught up with what people wear but focus on the heart of the person.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are casual. Most families sit together, children included. We do have a staffed nursery available and children's church for young kids. We offer classes for all children and teens during our Sunday School hour. The service starts with a worship service and is followed with a sermon. You can find more information, including recorded sermons on our website.

What is the community like?
The church community is a nice mix of what you find in this area of Oklahoma. There are several families who have deep, local roots and lots of extended family ties that are close. Others have relocated to the area and call southwest Oklahoma home. We also have military families from Altus Air Force base that join our church family while stationed here. The church originated in the small town of Martha, you will find that although the church has grown to include people from several different towns the church has kept the country style with a focus on family.
