Leadership
Matthew Scraper
Matthew was born in Tulsa, OK and raised in Northeast Kansas where his father served as an ordained elder in the Kansas East Conference of the United Methodist Church. After graduating from Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park, KS, Matthew enlisted in the U.S. Army (Infantry) where he served for 5 years. Matthew is a veteran of the Bosnian Conflict maintaining six generations of family service to our country. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army in 2002, Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rogers State University in Claremore, OK and a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. Matthew is also a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and like so many in Oklahoma, is the descendent of those who survived the Trail of Tears. Matthew is married to his best friend, Kate (a florida native) and is the proud parent of Robyn, Samantha, and Megan.Location & Directions
