Mic Dysinger11 "About this, we have much to say, and it is hard to explain since you have become dull of hearing." 12 "For though, by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God." Hebrews 5: 11-12 ESV. The former preacher, a distinguished doctor, contributed immensely with his profound knowledge. However, my observation is centered on the church's preference for 15-minute feel-good stories that amount to no growth, spiritual or otherwise. They want to have social gatherings and be entertained, not taught about God. They obviously have issues with the lives they lead and are easily offended when they feel convicted or when God speaks to them. This is why they ran him off. To any incoming pastor, good luck. This is a dying congregation that has settled into complacency and does not wish to be disturbed. I do not wish to pass judgment and malice. I only warn that if you seek God truly, go someplace else. You will no longer find it here. 19 "Their end is destruction. Their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things." Philippians 3:19 ESV
