About Us
Lockport United Church of Christ is the result of the 2002 consolidation of two UCC congregations: St. Peter's and Plymouth Congregational United Churches of Christ. These congregations date back to 1861 and 1838, respectively. We are a member congregation of the United Church of Christ, a denomination that has a history of being progressive on social issues. As such, we believe that God is still speaking in the world today, and that we should never place a period where God has placed a comma.

Leadership
Steve Hall
Steve was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 1978. He has served churches in Missouri and New York, with his longest tenure of 31 years being in Lockport. Over the period of his ministry, Steve has served the United Church of Christ at the national, state, regional, and local levels. He has also been active in programs in his local community, most notably chairing the annual CROP Walk for world hunger and serving on the board of directors for Lockport Meals on Wheels. Steve is married with two adult children and three grandchildren.Location & Directions
