What to Expect

What are services like?
Sunday is a busy day at LRPC! Besides a well-prepared for church service, there are a handful of classes for children and adults. At 9:30AM, we have “Sunday School”, which is just another name for Christian education classes – basically, bible/book studies. Some classes may use a book to guide discussion and some lessons may be prepared by the teacher. You are welcome to join in, at any time throughout the year, at any of these classes. There is no registration needed – just come!

What is the community like?
Welcome to Loch Raven! Thanks for checking us out online! We’ve been waiting for you! It’s true, because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of this special fellowship is sent by God Himself.

Leadership

David Milligan

Pastor Milligan was called to service by the members of Loch Raven Presbyterian Church on January 15, 2012. He joined the Chesapeake Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in March of 2012, to become the Senior Pastor of Loch Raven Presbyterian Church (PCA). David was born on January 18 in northern New Jersey, the son of Pastor Bill and Edie Milligan. David met his wife, Sue, while at Grove City College and they were married in June of 1993, following David’s first year of seminary. Sue, a Music Education major, has continued to use her talents teaching voice and piano lessons. David and Sue are the proud parents of five children.
