About Us

From many worlds, one family by Christ's redeeming grace

We're a church near the University of Chicago that has recently renovated an old pool hall in the Woodlawn neighborhood. We've been in Chicago going on ten years, building a family of people from all kinds of walks of life, learning to walk together in God's grace and truth, and trying to be the hands and feet of the mercy of Jesus, as the Body of Christ.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Accessible

What if I'm not a Christian?
We have many visitors and even regular attenders who are not Christians, and though we do not change the message of our faith, we do our best to make it understandable, accessible, and relevant to anyone who is interested. There's no pressure foisted upon you, no judgments, but we will try to listen to what's important to you, and gladly tell you the story of God's great works in our lives through Christ.
