Leadership
John Balliet
Pastor John loves to share the reality of the gospel through a "rubber meets the road" ministry, meeting people where they are and walking with them in a ministry of reconciliation and healing. Before ministry, the pastor had thirty years of business experience in management, specializing in training, facility management, and conflict resolution. John also successfully founded and operated two small businesses. Pastor John has found his life experiences to be a tremendous asset in ministry and understanding life's concerns and pressures. Pastor John completed his undergraduate work at Geneva College in Public Relations/Crisis Management in 2019 and his Master of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2022 while pastoring churches in the Johnstown District. John's wife, Kendra, is an ordained elder in the WPAUMC and serves at Stone & Bethany UMC in Meadville. John and Kendra have a blended family of five children: J. David, Alex, Amanda, Marissa, and Daniel, and three grandchildren: Christian, Madison, and Parker! John and Kendra love to travel and enjoy Otters hockey, Sea Wolves baseball, and Steelers football. John particularly enjoys walking, pontoon boats, reading, and being a life-long learner.Location & Directions
