Who We Are

Light of the World Church (LWC) is a nondenominational body of believers who seek to worship Jesus, know Him better, and by the Spirit daily live gospel-transformed lives. At LWC, you can find a loving church with a family atmosphere. Our members range from young to old, with a mixture of various ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds.

We emphasize growing in the knowledge of God through the preaching of His Word, Bible Studies, prayer, and fellowship. We sing a blend of traditional songs and hymns, gospel songs, and carefully selected contemporary worship songs.

We have a prayer service every Wednesday night from 7–8:30pm. On Friday nights from 7–8:30pm, the Youth Ministry (ages 11-25) meet for fellowship and training in God's word, while adults meet for Bible Study.

Our vibrant Women's Ministry meets monthly for Saturday brunches, fellowship, and teaching from God's Word. Our Men's Ministry meets every other month for Saturday breakfast, fellowship, and the Word of God.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are approximately 90 minutes in length. We sing a blend of praise and worship songs, traditional hymns, and carefully selected contemporary worship songs. We read from scripture and preach unashamedly from the Word of God. We strive to preach sermons that are Christ-centered, expository, and practical.

What is the community like?
At Light of the World Church, you can find a loving church with a family atmosphere. Our members range from young to old, with a mixture of various ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds.

What if I'm not a Christian?
The Gospel is the joyous and glorious declaration that God is redeeming the world through Christ and that He calls everyone everywhere to repent from sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Each of us has sinned against a Holy God. We have broken His law and rebelled against His rule, and the penalty for our sin is death and hell. But because of His love, God sent His Son, Jesus, to live, for His people's sake, the perfect, obedient life that God requires and to die on the cross in our place for our sin. He rose again bodily from the grave on the third day and is now seated and reigning in heaven over all things. He offers forgiveness, righteousness, resurrection, and eternal blessedness in God's presence to everyone who repents of sin and trusts solely in Him for salvation. We welcome all to visit our church and be warmly received. You will hear the clear preaching of God's word as well as vibrant, heartfelt worship in song to the true and living God.
