What are services like?
BEFORE THE SERVICE * Nursery, Preschool and Life Kids (K-6) check-in begins at 9:45 at the Children's Check In station. Each child receives a printed name tag, and the adult receives a matching Pick Up tag which must be presented when you pick up your child. Please take children to their classes by 10:00 AM. You can feel safe leaving your children with our volunteers, who all wear lanyards with their photo and a "Secure Search" background check verification. * If you need to keep your child with you and they become fussy, please visit the Atrium or Crying Room in the rear of the Sanctuary where you can comfortably sit while you see and hear the service. FELLOWSHIP * From 9:45 to 10:15 AM, adults enjoy free refreshments and beverages in the Atrium. High Life Students Ministries (Grades 7-12) hang out in their own space with their own with their own refreshments. * Please visit the Welcome Center in the Atrium to pick up all kinds of fun stuff: free Bibles, free Daily Bread devotionals, offering envelopes, photo directories, financial statements, pens, name tags and free CD’s of prior messages. WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS * Find your seat in the Sanctuary and prepare your heart for the service. * Learn what’s going on at Life Church and “Bigger Than Life” opportunities to serve in our community. * We want to know you! Please fill out a Response Card located in the seat pockets so we can pray for you, hear your ideas and keep you updated about upcoming events. Response Cards or Offerings may be placed in the baskets that are passed during the message or put in the locked box between the sanctuary doors. WORSHIP * Sorry, our fog machine is broken... Worship isn’t entertainment, it’s a time to tell God how wonderful He is! We draw near to Him through music and praise. * We also worship through personal testimonies as someone shares their "Life Story" in an interview with a pastor. These truthful testimonies demonstrate God's faithfulness and offer hope in the midst of sickness, unfaithfulness, addiction and despair. * Please feel free to partake of open communion on either side of the sanctuary, where there are also people available to pray and talk with you. We share communion together as a congregation on the first Sunday of the month. TEACHING * The Sunday sermon is sometimes humorous, often insightful, and always Biblical, culturally relevant and personally challenging. * High Life Students (7-12) go to their class at this time. MINISTRY * Respond to the message through prayer and worship.

What is the community like?
One of the most challenging aspects of a new endeavor like Life Church is to clearly define its core values. A church family is only as healthy as its spiritual DNA, both as a congregation and as individuals. When someone comes to church for the first time, their radar is working overtime to pick up the DNA. They wonder, “Are these people proud, are they humble? Are they friendly or are they standoffish? What’s the DNA here? Does it match mine?” DNA shows up when we least expect. It surfaces when we’re exhilarated, irritated, or exhausted – when we’re at our best and when we’re at our worst. It represents our core values, the “defaults” that are pre-set into our personal lives. I believe today's church is moving quickly to a more simplified form. Simple worship, simple preaching/teaching and simplified fellowship opportunities. Life Church is committed to this simplified approach to church life. We are committed to drawing people together for the simple purpose of worshipping together, sharing the Word together, and fellowshipping together. We want to be “Bigger than Life,” focusing our resources, energies and our lives outward from Life Church toward our community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
When you come to Life Church, you will find that you can truly be yourself. Life Church’s DNA is genuine, patient and compassionate. Love and mercy toward one another are woven into our nucleus. There is mercy for mistakes and love for the unlovely. Our love isn’t based on performance, but on who we are in Christ. We need mercy, and we will offer mercy. At our core, we understand that we are all flawed but forgiven people who are fleshing out our salvation in fits and starts.
