    Executive Pastor

    Serving in Pastoral ministry since 1995, holding a Masters in Pastoral Counseling and Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Liberty University, he is excited most by helping people discover their place in the kingdom of God. He believes that every child of God is called to make an impact in the world and he receives great joy when people discover their gifts and abilities and find their place in the kingdom. He loves spending time with his wonderful wife, Davina, and his children, his son Jordan and his wife, Haley and his daughter, Abigail. He loves to read, he enjoys writing and loves motivating people to make a difference. He enjoys almost any sport, especially football and baseball. He loves playing golf and the camaraderie of men's church softball. He is always up for a Starbucks run, opting usually for the biggest cold brew he can find. He loves eating at locally-owned restaurants especially when accompanied by a date night with the love of his life, or a night out with the family. Davina holds a Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and she thrives in helping people find healing and wholeness by dealing with the hurts of their past and embracing the future that God has created just for them. In addition to her passion for counseling, she is a gifted speaker and serves as a leader on our Worship Team, where she helps to lead people into the presence of the Lord through music.

    Senior Pastor

    Pastor Buddy & Robin have served as the Senior Pastors of Life Church since 1995. Buddy is a native of the Richmond area and has called Mechanicsville home for nearly all of his life. He loves living in Hanover County and believes his life’s call is to reach the community that God has planted him in -the Metro Richmond, VA area. Buddy serves as an advisor to several churches around the country and has been actively involved in ministry since he was 16 years old. In 1990 he married his college sweetheart, Robin and they have two beautiful daughters, Lauren and her husband Evan, and Lindsey and her husband Exavier. They also love being grandparents to Mason and Ava. Buddy received a Bachelors degree in Theology in 1990 and is also a licensed Realtor. Buddy enjoys sports, specifically the Dallas Cowboys and the Virginia Cavaliers. His life scripture is Matt 6:33 – “but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Robin also serves as one of the pastors here at Life Church and has many years of experience as not only a mother but a pastor’s wife. Robin’s love for people and her fine example as a wife and mother have made a great impact on the Life Church family. Robin speaks all over the country at Ladies Conferences, Retreats, and Seminars. Robin has a heart for God and for his people and it is quickly evident to anyone who meets her.
