Chris Johnson

Pastor Chris grew up in a strong Christian home and trusted Christ at an early age. He and his wife, Alicia, began serving full-time in the ministry after graduating from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida, in May, 1995. Since that time, he has served in churches both in Georgia and Florida and has completed a M.Ed. in Leadership through Regent University. As Senior Pastor, Pastor Chris oversees the various ministries and the day-to-day operations of the church. Alicia is also actively involved in the various ministries of the church. She primarily serves in the Music Ministry by singing and playing the keyboard and oversees the Ladies Ministry. Pastor Chris is an avid football fan, loves all things Georgia Tech, and enjoys spending time with his family. He and Alicia have five daughters and three sons: Joe, 19; Ethan, 18; Emma, 17; Alyssa, 16; Andrea, 15; Amelia, 10; Alex, 6; and Anna Beth, 3. Five of their children were adopted through the foster care system. The Johnsons also have the privilege of serving as foster parents and regularly welcome additional children into their home. They are currently providing a home for a teen brother and sister, while they complete the steps to finalize their adoption in the coming months.
