About Us

Lennon Wesleyan Church is a multi-generational, growing church that currently is pursuing the will of God as to how it might impact the world. Under the leadership of our new pastor who arrived mid-July 2012, Rev. Dana B. Beland, there is an emphasis for individuals and families to grow in the grace of God, and to be used by God to make His name famous. Pastor Dana’s preaching and teaching is grounded in the Bible. Two of Pastor Dana’s major themes are that you are “Special,” and that the church needs to be culturally relevant in communicating the “Good News” of salvation through Jesus Christ. We invite you to come worship with us, and check back often to our website as we move forward with God. It is our desire to add a podcast to this website of our services in the near future. God bless.

Dana B. Beland

Pastor Dana Beland was born in Massachusetts and lived a good bit of his life in New Jersey. He came south to Virginia, where he met his wife, Melanie. They married in 1998 and went to Kentucky Mountain Bible College, where Dana graduated with a Ministerial Degree. After graduating, Dana served as Chief Admissions Counselor for Kentucky Mountain Bible College and began work on his Master's Degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. In 2004, Dana sensed the Lord's leading into full-time pastoring and the Lord led his family to Trinity Wesleyan Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He served as pastor there until July 2012, when he and his family moved to Lennon Wesleyan to pastor. Pastor Dana feels a clear call from the Lord to serve at Lennon and is excited at what the Lord has in store! Pastor Dana and Melanie have four children: Elijah (9), Abigail (7), and Elizabeth (4), and Ariel (born August 8, 2012).
