What are services like?
Communion is offered every Sunday. Couples where one member is Catholic and one is Protestant often find common ground in our worship! Hymns are tradtional, often supplemented by instrumental and vocal soloists. Sermons apply Scripture learning to Real Life. We use the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, using both traditional language (the Sunday 8:00 service) and contemporary language (the family service at 10:00.)
What is the community like?
Members are welcoming to newcomers. We have people of all ages and all walks of life. As we are a small congregation (about 50 worshiping on Sunday) we are very mutually supportive, and always looking to share our Good News with newcomers.
What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome at Lawrencefield. During communion, you are invited to come to the Altar Rail for an interfaith blessing. Low-pressure instruction is always available to those who want to learn more about the Christian faith and the Episcopal experience.
