Alan Combs
Alan Combs grew up in Powhatan, Virginia. He attended Hampden-Sydney College where he received a B.A. in Religion in 2004. Afterwardwards, he attended Duke Divinity School, where he received a Master of Divinity Degree in 2007 and a Master of Theology Degree in 2008. He began full-time ministry in 2008 at Heritage United Methodist Church, where he served for 3 years. After being ordained in 2011, he was sent to Lane Memorial United Methodist Church. Alan married his wife Morgan in 2006, and they have two children, Mary Alex, who is 2, and Laurel, who is 9 months old. Alan is passionate about worship, learning and teaching scripture, sacramental revival, and discerning how God draws these elements together to help us live as faithful people out in the world.Location & Directions
