What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are casual and down to earth. We sing songs, pray together and listen to what God has for us in His Scriptures. We laugh with each other, encourage one another and sometimes cry together, but that what church families do.

What is the community like?
LCA is located in South Lancaster City. Our neighborhood is a highly populated urban community made up of a mix of Hispanic, African American, and Caucasian people. There are many families here, but also singles and the elderly, just what one would expect to see in the city. We consider our neighborhood to be safe compared to other urban settings, but we encourage our members to take common sense precautions while in the city.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come anyway! LCA welcomes everyone to join us, even if you are not a believer or if you are just looking for answers to life's tough questions. You and your family will be greeted with smiles and sincerity because we are all people who need to feel welcome, accepted and appreciated. (And the after service coffee is pretty good too!)

Rev. Christopher Bright

Pastor Chris is the founding pastor of LCA. He is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and is a licensed Assemblies of God minister. The husband of Patricia, Chris is also a good cook, loves sports (Eagles and Philies!) and has a passion for the community in which he serves.
