What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship is rooted in Scripture, centered on Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. It is relevant to today's culture, addressing the needs of believers and unbelievers alike. It engages people physically, emotionally, intellectually and soulfully. The scripture readings, pastor's message, children's message and media/videos are the same at both of the Sunday worship services. The 9:00 Early Service music includes hymns and praise songs with an organ, piano or keyboard. There is also an adult choir and bell choir. The 11:00 Celebration Service music is more contemporary with a Praise Band. There are a lot of children and families present. People are welcome to "come as they are" to both services, but the Celebration Service is a bit more casual. Thursdays, 6:30 pm, Roots Community Fellowship- Designed for young adults to have a mid-week worship service and faith community.

What is the community like?
The church community has a family feeling. Mission work is very important, both locally, nationally and globally. There is a strong youth ministry with a yearly mission trip. Children's ministry and education are valued.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone is welcome! Lake Harbor is a wonderful place to begin your journey with Jesus among a supportive and caring group of people.
