Who We Are

Wondering where to go to worship God? To become a Christian? To meet other Christians? To learn how to live? To develop relationships? To be a part of a loving family? The Church of Christ is the place for you.
We are a New Testament church founded on the principles of the Bible (Mat. 16:18). The Church of Christ has many things to offer people looking to learn more about Christ and build relationship with people.
The mission of the Church of Christ is to offer eternal life to all people. Jesus states in John 10:10, “...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Our Services

What are services like?
We meet every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for worship, we have Bible school classes for all ages at 11:00 a.m. We then gather again on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. for evening worship. Then Bible Study for all ages on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. with classes for children and adults.

What is the community like?
The Congregation has many activities and ministries that you and your family can be involved in. The following are some activities and ministries that are offered: Bible Busters (sing, Bible drill) for children 12 and under 5:40 p.m. every Sunday, Vacation Bible School, Youth Activities, Church Camp for all youth, Weekly Bulletin, Home Bible Studies, Free Bible Tracts, Church Library, Fellowship Meals, Gospel Meetings, Support Potter's Children’s Home, World Bible School, Transportation to Church (Call the church building to make arrangements), Bible School Classes for all ages, Missions, Host worship services and Bible Study at Love and Care. And other activities We are excited about the ministries and activities we offer and we encourage you to come and be a part of the ministry here.

Mark Tonkery

Mark T. Tonkery is originally from West Virginia. He received an Associates degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Bible from Ohio Valley College now University in Parkersburg, West Virginia in 1997. In 2004 he graduated with a Masters of Arts degree from Kentucky Christian University. Mark has preached for over 18 years in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. He is married to Laura (Keplinger) Tonkery from Columbus, Ohio since May 30, 1998. She is also a graduate of Ohio Valley College. Mark and Laura have two young daughters Breanna and Samantha.
