Lahaina Christian Fellowship

I attended L.C.F. in the early 1990's. I was enrolled in Teen Challenge and after a year I got a good job working on the boats in the harbor. I was so thankful for a year of sobriety, I wanted to tithe 20% of my income to the church. Something told me to give only 10%, but I went ahead and gave twenty. IT IS BETTER TO OBEY THAN SACRIFICE. I never put my name on the envelope, and the pastor never spoke to me. I later wondered if I would of claimed the $60.00 a week if Larry would of prayed for me. I had many spiritual problems then and still do now. I no longer go to church, I give my offerings to various charities and individuals. WHATEVER YOU DO TO THE LEAST OF THESE MY BRETHREN, YOU ARE DOING UNTO ME. Maui was a very good mother to me, I was sorry to see the fire. I gave to a restoration fund and prayed for the old banyon tree. THERE WON'T BE A FAMINE FOR BREAD OR THIRST FOR WATER, BUT FOR HEARING THE WORD OF GOD.
