Koinonia Church became a visioned reality in May 2010. While working through "Experiencing God," (a Bible study about knowing and doing the will of God) the Lord revealed his desire for Koinonia Church to Mike and Lora Ellinas.

God continues to reveal His Will/Plans for Koinonia Church and as new pieces of the puzzle are revealed, the members of Koinonia will respond accordingly.

Koinonia Church's ministries began with intimate, home-based Bible study groups in April of 2010. These intimate Home-Groups will always be Koinonia Church's main focus, even as we continue to grow.

In September of 2010, Koinonia Christian Church, Inc. was accepted and approved by the Georga Secretary of State as an official 501c3 non-profit corporation.

The ordination service of Pastor's Mike and Lora Ellinas was held in January of 2011, and it was truly a Spirit-filled, God-led event!

Starting July 9, 2011; Koinonia Christian Church will have its weekend services on Saturday nights at 6:30 pm. We will be meeting at 310 Millard Farmer Industrial Blvd in Newnan, GA 30265. Services will be held in the Coweta Community Church main sanctuary. We are proud to offer onsite children's ministry every week!

Leadership

Mike Ellinas

A young and prophetic pastor with an evangelist's heart. Mike has a true desire to connect with individuals to explain the need and plan of salvation in an effort to build up the Body of Christ and see souls saved. Whether it be through a sermon, a helping hand, a Facebook post, or even while giving financial advice, Mike is passionate about finding an "in road" to bring people to Christ through whatever means necessary. Mike also has a degree in biblical studies and practical Ministry From Logos Christian College. When not serving at Koinonia Christian Church, Mike enjoys exercise, softball, his two huskies, and reading comic books (mainly Batman). Mike also enjoys spending as much time as possible with his lovely wife, Lora. Mike will tell you, "I married up."
