To whom it may concern,
Hello, my name is Nicole M Taylor. My family attended the Kenmore church and I even sang for worship for quite some time while Pastor Chris was leading. Since Pastor Chris left, we have not been in attendance. However, my children wanted to give the church another chance and attended service last night 11/5/2025. I want to express deep concerns with how the pastor speaks to and handles children. My children came home extremely upset, and even stated that they never want to return to the church again. Some of the concerns that I have are as follows:
1. Water was withheld from my child. There is no circumstance in this world where withholding the basic needs of a person is acceptable
2. Rudeness and lack of human decency. I do not and will not let anyone, adult or not, speak down on my children for any reason. Respect is not something you can demand and not be expected to give in return. How you address people, children or adults, matters. Yelling, screaming and threatening children? Absolutely disgusting. To force your body in someone's way to block them is also extremely disturbing to me.
3.Threats of ANY kind toward children. Under no circumstance, unless you are being threatened or harmed, should we weaponize the police force. No one was doing anything other than typical child behavior. So to threaten my 3 children and 2 others with calling the police is disgusting adult behavior. How do we teach our children that law enforcement is there to serve and protect if we throw them around as a weapon whenever we don't get our way?
A little bit of backstory about my 3 children:
My 2 oldest children were sexually assaulted by their biological father at ages 2 and 4. They survived a house fire 2 days before Christmas in 2017. My daughter was abducted from a sleepover 1 year ago. Both of my older children have special needs along with PTSD from their lifetime of trauma. And instead of someone getting to know them or understanding them, they were treated like dirt, like trash. How dare this new pastor think that he has any right to treat my children or any other children this way.
What is the job of a pastor? To show the love of our savior. Jesus loved everyone, treated them with kindness. We are supposed to walk in his likeness. To bring all of God's children to him. Not to run them off and treat them like they are less than. The world treats us this way, we don't need the same treatment from the church. We are supposed to do better. Set the example of living in Christ. I am sorry to say, this pastor just doesn't meet the expectation. How do we preach the word of God and draw people in, save lives, and then treat our people like they do not matter???
I would like this addressed. I am no longer comfortable with my children being in this facility as long as nothing is being done to ensure that something changes. Please reach out to follow up. Thank you for your time in this matter.

This church has took a turn for the worst. The pastor of this church has called us evil people. He has removed the majority of the church while saying they retired. When in fact, they did not retire they quit not only did he remove many people who were dare to me And others, but he lied and said they retired when in fact, they had resigned due to his poor attitude and also character to say I am disappointed, would be an understatement, but it does not matter what I say him and the head of the Nazrin are best friends so we will just watch the church Eventually get shut down I will say I will never support this church again.
Not only was my grandma made to feel like she had no other choice but to leave but so many others who are near and dear to me this man puts on a front he is not a good man pastor Chris is a devil in sheep clothing I have contemplated for a while to leave a review, but frankly these people leaving, including my grandma who had served the church and cleaning faithfully and in children’s class and so on and so forth for close to 45 years has been enough for me to speak my mind I hope this helps others too also and I hope he is out of there before the church is completely shut down for good.
I hope this gives others the courage to stand up I am not afraid to speak my mind because this was my church and it’s being destroyed.
