What to Expect

What are services like?
We can’t wait to welcome you to the Keller Church of Christ! We are grateful that you are thinking of visiting us soon. So that you feel comfortable and “at home” during your visit, here is what you can expect on a typical Sunday. Bible Class Beginning at 9:00 am, we conduct Bible classes for all ages. This time together is spent studying Scripture and discussing how it applies to our lives. We encourage you to attend one of our Bible classes and will direct you to the class of your choice. During the class, feel free to make comments, ask questions, or sit back and observe. Worship Our worship service begins at 10:00 am with a song, followed by a greeting and some announcements. This is followed by a Scripture reading and additional congregational singing. The words to the songs are projected on the screen as a convenience. During our worship service, a message is presented. We also pray and observe Communion. Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is a special meal in which Christians reflect on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. All Christians are invited to partake of this meal with us. After Communion, a collection will be taken up from our members. As our guest, you should feel no obligation to give. The service concludes with a dismissal song and prayer. Our hope is that your time at Keller is a blessing. If we can do anything to make your visit more enjoyable, please do not hesitate to let us know! May God bless you!

What is the community like?
You may ask, “What makes the Keller Church of Christ different from other churches?” We believe it is our passionate and unapologetic commitment to Jesus and the Bible. We believe that God sent Jesus to die for our sins (John 3:16), and that no one can be saved except through Jesus (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). We love sharing that message because we don’t want anyone to be lost! Each one of us loves being in a relationship with God, and we want others to know that same joy! We believe that anyone can be saved through faith (John 8:24; Heb. 11:6), repentance (Luke 13:3), and water baptism (Mark 16:16). God thereby washes away our sins (Acts 22:16) and adds us to his church (Acts 2:47)—he does not add us to a church that wears the name of a man or tradition, but one that wears Jesus’ name. When you visit Keller, you will find a very warm group of loving and caring people. When you visit one of our worship services, you are an honored guest in our home and we want you to feel “at home”! We do not believe that we are better than anyone else. We do believe that God has richly blessed us far beyond what we deserve, and we are very thankful for that. After all, God forgave and forgot our sins through Jesus (Rom. 5:8-9). So it is our unending goal to reflect God’s disarming love and live lives worthy of Jesus. We want you to be a part of that! Come visit us at the Keller Church of Christ! Bible Classes for all ages begin at 9:00am Morning Worship starts at 10:00am Evening Worship starts at 5:00pm
