Over 2 1/2 years the blasting of the bell has gone on. I really thought that when it fell silent a week and a half ago it was because someone there decided to repent and stop forcing their will upon the residents in this area that live here to enjoy the peace and quite. I was very disappointed today when it started back up again. It's so sad. How can they think that they can do whatever they like and not care how it adversely effects others? Scripture is clear, if you truly love God then you will obey His commands. Those that refuse and are determined to have their own way and to do what they want daily, habitually, deliberately are not obedient to God. I so hope they will one day repent before it's to late for them. So I am reposting what I put here over 2 1/2 years ago. Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Those who call themselves Christian are to submit and obey Jesus Christ. They are not to force their will upon others. TURN OFF THAT AUDIBLE RECORDING OF THE BIG BEN BELL WHEN YOU ARE NOT THERE. YOU ARE DELIBERATELY DISTURBING THE PEACE. Christians are to be meek, humble and loving. why must you play it EVERY HOUR ALL DAY LONG 7 DAYS A WEEK? Please turn it off when you are not there. MARK 12:30-31 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Show a little love... turn it off when you are not there. How hard is that? A true Christian submits the God's commands and obeys.
