What are services like?
WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE? Our official start time is 10:45 - but come early and enjoy the fellowship. We believe that music is one more way that we can declare the Glory of God! It is the heart’s desire of our band to do just that. Each week at Impact you will have the opportunity to participate in worship with music from artists like Starfield, Ten Shekel Shirt, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong and Passion. We are passionate about relevant preaching we strive to teach the Bible in a way that will impact the hearer and those they touch in the week to come. The message will usually be about 30-45 minutes in length. We promise to have you on your way by 12:00, unless you want to hang around and fellowship a while. IS THERE A DRESS CODE? No there is not a dress code. We want to meet people the way Jesus did - where they are in life. As far as we know we don’t have any hang-ups and we don’t intend to develop any. We promise not to freak out if you wear jeans to church or if you have a different version of the Bible - you probably will match one of our teaching pastors. WHEN WAS THE CHURCH STARTED? Our first service was January 6th 2008 in Pastor Mike & Debbie's living room. We had our official Launch Service on September 7th 2008. ARE YOU PART OF A DENOMINATION? Impact Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church. We are not afraid or ashamed of the name Baptist. It’s just what we are! We do participate with Baptist Bible Fellowship International in our Missions Program and other projects or ministries. HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER? To be a member you must know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and be baptized by immersion. Members are accepted by statement of faith. CAN NON-MEMBERS ATTEND? Yes, anyone is welcome to attend any and all of our services. WHAT IF I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS? If you would like to join us, or are interested in getting involved we would love to meet you.
