What are services like?
Our 9:00 a.m. Traditional Worship meets weekly in the Sanctuary. This service is enhanced with Pipe Organ , as well as the Chancel Choir and/or Bell Choir providing music each Sunday except the summer. This service is a passionate service where varying forms of worship are included, such as visual worship displays, as well as time for differing forms of prayer. Communion is taken on the first Sunday of the month. Dress as you feel comfortable. Some worship in shorts or jeans, others in slacks or dresses. You are welcome as you are! Greeters will meet you at the door to welcome you and answer any questions you have! *Nursery care is provided **Coffee, Tea and Treats available all Sunday morning in the Sun Room Our Contemporary Worship meets in the social room. Currently, we worship on the 5th Sunday of the month at 11:15, just prior to our Community Dinner. In 2013, we also hope to worship monthly. This very laid back worship is led by our Contemporary Worship Band and Pastor Jennifer Burns hosts as Waitress "Flo" of God's Diner. We focus on music, personal testimonies, and communion

What is the community like?
We are a multi-generational church. Many of our members are older, retired, and have been going to Howard for decades. Many others are younger, raising or forming their families in the church. We are very friendly. We love to fellowship before and after worship in our beautiful Sun Room where we have snacks and coffee/tea. We also are passionat about maintaining and forming new connections. We have a weekly ministry to our shut-ins, as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly outreach into our more impoverished community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We would love to form relationships with you. Whether you believe in Christ or not, we love you, and want the best for you. Come eat and fellowship at our Community Dinners held at 12 noon on 5th Sundays. We give away bread from Panera, along with paper products, cleaning products, and hygene items. Often times there are clothes or food to pick up too. Come and be nourished. Come and find fellowship!
