About Us
Hope Lutheran Church in Selden, Long Island reaches out to the people of several communities along Middle Country Road in Suffolk County, NY. Our mission is to make Christ known to all people by proclaiming a message of healing and hope through Jesus Christ and inviting them to share in worship, fellowship, and service. Hope provides a variety of ministries to people of all ages from nursery school through senior citizens, and we encourage all our members to share in our Total Life Caring Ministry which seeks to help people grow to wholeness in their faith and life..

What to Expect
Leadership
Richard Hill
Dr. Richard O. Hill has been pastor of Hope since 1982. A graduate of Wagner College and Luther Seminary, he received a doctorate in 1981 from Andover Newton Theological School. He is married and the father of three grown, married children and has three grandsons and a granddaughter. He is actively engaged in evangelical outreach, and he has led numerous workshops and seminars in several states and countries. His wife Linda is an Adolescent Psych nurse at Mather Hospital.Location & Directions
