Connecting with God... Connecting with others

... connecting with God. We are created by God and for God. It is essential that all of us understand our relationship with the Creator.

... connecting with others. Whether it is in a small group or in a large setting, we thrive on the encouragement, support, and accountability we have together.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Hillcrest Baptist Church has always valued relationships. The church began because someone had a heart for children and decided to reach out in faith. In both worship services, we spend time greeting each other, singing both choruses and hymns projected on a screen, soak in a message from God's Word that will challenge our walk with Jesus to help us to grow, and express our stewardship of all God's blessings during an offering. You may be wondering how you should dress. You will be comfortable in any style of clothing. On a typical Sunday, people wear dresses and suits, but you will also see people in jeans. The important part is your presence as we worship God together in "spirit and in truth." So come as you are and experience the heart of the Hillcrest church family.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We want you to know the joy and freedom that comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We can't force it on you, make the decision on your behalf, but with passion we desire you to know the love of God as described in the Bible. Below is how you can begin a relationship with God. It's not hard to do or a secret to keep. Becoming a Christ-follower is about beginning again with a fresh start. How to Become a Christian... Admit - Admit you're a sinner and be willing to turn away from your sin to follow God’s new direction for your life. (Rom. 3:23; Acts 3:19) Believe - Trust in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, for eternal life. (Jn. 3:16) Confess - Acknowledge Jesus as the supreme authority over your life. (Rom. 10:9, 13) Receive - Accept God’s free gift of salvation. (Rom. 6:23, Jn. 1:12)
