Latino Ministry Pastor
Armando serves as pastor of Latino Ministry at Heartland. He also coordinates the Translation Team and the Wednesday Spanish Service. Armando and his wife, Irma, graduated as Ordained Ministers from Latin American Theological Seminary. They serve as elders of Heartland Church. Armando’s life was transformed by a revelation of the Kingdom of God and the Father's love. Armando and Irma are sold out to awaken this generation from spiritual death and religious complacency by calling each individual into their purpose and corporate responsibility in the offensive army imposing the Kingdom of God. They have three children, Elizabeth, Michael, and Erika and two grandsons, Elijah and Michael (Mikey).

Pastor of Student Ministries
In 2001, Jon was invited to join the staff of Heartland as the Youth Pastor. His heart was to see the next generation operate in a Kingdom environment in their daily lives. In 2006, both Jon and Pastor Dave felt the Lord’s leading to refocus Jon’s ministry to children. As the children's pastor, he led the kids in experiencing God, learning the Word, and ministering in the power of the Spirit through spiritual gifts. At the beginning of 2016, Jon took on leadership of the youth as well as the children. As the Pastor of Student Ministries, he has developed strong teams that are helping those from birth to age 18 function in a Kingdom environment in their daily lives. It is now a weekly occurrence for the children at Heartland to be used in healing and other spiritual gifts. Pastor Jon and Tara, have six children they are equipping to live sold out lives for Jesus. They are also blessed with a daughter-in-law and grandson.

Soon after his conversion he enrolled in Teen Challenge, a Christ-centered program for people with life-controlling problems. Upon completing Teen Challenge's discipleship program, he went to Bible school where he met his wife, Kathy. After Bible school he returned to Teen Challenge of the Midlands where he worked for 14 years, mentoring men and women with broken lives. In 2002, he became the Senior Pastor at Heartland.
