Bishop Maurice Keller
Bishop Maurice Keller is the Founder/Senior Pastor of Greater New Destiny Christian Church of Pell City, Alabama, where he is completing his 20th year of ministry. Bishop Keller received his call to the preaching ministry in 1992; at the age of seventeen. He was licensed to minister in 1993, and was ordained in 1998. On August 8, 2012 Bishop Keller founded the Greater New Destiny Christian Church in Pell City, Alabama. Bishop Keller’s love for God’s Word, the church, and lost people has been obvious to both the membership of Greater New Destiny and the larger community. The church continues to grow spiritually and numerically. Bishop Keller has the heart of God which manifests in his life and the lives of his God-given flock. He provides his congregation with strong prophetic teaching and preaching that they find relevant in their everyday lives. Bishop Keller is a 1994 graduate of Vincent High School. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Bible & Pastoral Ministry from the Historic Selma University in Selma, Alabama. He attended Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a 2009 graduate of the Northeast Law Enforcement Academy in Jacksonville, Alabama. He is a former employee of the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles. Bishop Keller resides in Pell City, Alabama with his wife of 12 years Shulanda Threatt Keller. He and Mrs. Keller have four children to their union. Demetria, Kendall, Katelyn, and Kyra are blessed and present.Location & Directions
