a grace community with a great commission

Grace United Church is a community of believers in Jesus Christ who live and work and play in the Northampton area in Western Mass. We haven't got it all together. But we trust Jesus and, together, we are learning to receive God's grace and to walk in His ways.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We meet in a cafeteria, so no religious trappings. We start with a couple of worship songs and prayer, a 30 minute message based on God's Word or relevant life issues, and we end with a couple more songs. Enjoy a coffee and socialize afterward. Attend a Discover GU class. Get dizzy watching the kids run around. Or pray with some really caring people in you need.

What is the community like?
Pre-COVID we were a church with a lot of young families. COVID has changed the landscape, many now participate online. GU Kids and youth are rebooting. We are excited to step forward into a new season and new growth.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are interested to know why Jesus and the difference He makes, join us or watch online. If you feel far from God but you wish you weren't, come and hear the good news of God's grace for you. Bring your questions.
