What are services like?
The Bible is used for all preaching, teaching, and counseling • The Bible is our standard of comparison for daily living • The sermons are practical and applicable to everyday life • Click here for an overview of our doctrinal beliefs Bible studies that will give you more opportunities to grow in your walk with God • You can participate in an informal weekly Bible study every Sunday at 9:15 AM…the worship service follows at 10:30 AM • Our current Bible study is on the theme of “Always Rejoicing” • The Bible studies offer the opportunity to realize others struggle with the same things I do…and the answer to my struggles are in the Bible Music will be heard • Beautiful music fills the sanctuary before the service, during the hymn service, and after the service • We purposely choose to sing the old-fashioned hymns using hymnbooks, an organ, and a piano • You will experience a wonderful music service with heart-felt congregational singing, evangelistic piano & organ playing, and soul-stirring vocal specials People will warmly greet you • You will receive a warm welcome beginning at the time you walk through the door • Kindness and friendliness are the genuine responses the GBC family show throughout the week • People of varied ages and backgrounds who want to know the Lord better attend GBC Children and teens will have things to do • A nursery is provided for children under the age of 4 for every service • In September through May; children in K4-6th Grades can enjoy a great Bible club every Wednesday from 6:50 to 8:15 PM. • Our smaller youth group gives each teen the opportunity to develop strong godly relationships • Bible study opportunities for just the teens are led every Sunday at 9:15 AM • Teen activities are organized every month

What is the community like?
We are a small city atmosphere in a rural community. It is a very nice combination of small urban and rural atmosphere. The community is a very friendly, down-to-earth family oriented area. It is also a safe community with VERY low crime rates.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All backgrounds are welcome to join us for church services as we seek to know the Lord better through the preaching of the Bible.
