What are services like?
What will the worship service be like? At Gospel Community Church we keep it simple. We will sing, pray, read and teach from the scriptures. During our service we will also take communion remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus. You will find a relaxed yet passionate people who are easy going and deeply in love with Jesus. What should I wear? Clothes are mandatory at Gospel Community Church, other than that there is no set dress code. Most people dress casual but just come as you are. What about my kids? We love kids! We believe that when kids come to church they should learn something and have fun. When you arrive you will be able to check you child into a safe and worry free environment so that you can focus on Jesus during the service.

What is the community like?
The Gospel is in direct opposition to the concept that individual men need only look inward, to themselves for provision and sustenance. We side with the Bible’s stance—that the church is a crucial gift God gave to us, the body of Christ. Gospel community does not arrange itself by accident—we will therefore take intentional steps to build relationships as believers through our services as well as through community groups. Our community will be built of intergenerational and intercultural mingling. We intend to cross age and color boundaries so that all will hear and respond to the Gospel on their lives. We believe wisdom, giftings, and wealth are distributed variably so we might rely on each other as a body. The older will guide the younger; the younger will energize the older. We wish to create a family of believers that enjoys the material and spiritual gifts God has provided. We will eat good food, enjoy robust conversation, laugh and cry with each other, engage in recreation and service together—all to the glory of God. We also believe that church discipline, rightly enacted, begins at the close and intimate level of brothers and, if necessary, escalates in an orderly, loving, and scriptural process to the corporate / church level. God’s design is for us to walk in the light, as He is in the light. This is made possible within Gospel community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are not a Christian we would be honored to have you visit with us. Gospel Community Church is a safe place to "kick the tires" of Christianity.
