⚠️ PUBLIC WARNING ABOUT GOOD SHEPHERD MINISTRIES IN HAGERSTOWN, MD ⚠️ I’m speaking out because silence only protects the wrong people. My grandmother was once a devoted supporter of Good Shepard Ministries in Hagerstown, Maryland, giving in huge physical and financial ways. She believed in that church — until the day Kenneth Brown and Rachel Brown took over. When the original pastor — the one who built that ministry with honor — stepped away, everything changed. Under Kenneth and Rachel’s leadership, the environment became unhealthy, the finances became questionable, and the integrity that once defined that church disappeared. My grandmother didn’t walk away because she was sick. She walked away because she could no longer trust them. She saw what was happening. She refused to stand behind what that church had become under the Browns’ control. And when she did become sick, the truth of their character was proven. No visits. No prayers. No support. After all she poured into that place, she got silence. Now, due to a technicality in her will, money is still set to go to them, even though they are operating nothing but a shell of a church. No congregation. No ministry. No service. Just a legally registered name, waiting to collect. Let me be very clear: Kenneth Brown and Rachel Brown may hold the paperwork, but they do not represent the heart of God. A real church shows up. A real ministry gives back. A real shepherd cares for the flock , not just the finances. I’m posting this as a warning to anyone considering donating or trusting their legacy with this organization: 🔴 Do your research. Do not give blindly. 🔴 A church without fruit is not a church , it’s a façade. As Scripture says: “You will know them by their fruits.” — Matthew 7:16 And the fruit under Kenneth and Rachel Brown? It speaks for itself. I share this with righteous anger — not out of revenge, but out of protection for others with kind and trusting hearts. My grandmother deserved better.
