About Us

A place to grow in faith.

You are invited to explore your faith at Good Shepherd - whether you're a life-long Christian or seeking a relationship with God for the first time.

Good Shepherd is a large congregation that offers numerous ways to study the Bible, grow one's faith, make a difference in the world by helping others, and develop meaningful friendships. You don't need to check your mind at the door here. Rather, you will find an environment that is safe yet challenging, comfortable yet provocative.

Take a look around. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please let us know and we’ll get you connected with someone who can help.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Good Shepherd offers seven worship services to meet the varying needs of our community, including Contemporary, Fusion, Traditional, Young Family Worship, Dinner-Worship and Meditation/Prayer. See 'Weekly Worship Services' at right for more information about services and when they are offered.

What is the community like?
Our multigenerational church values worshipping together and forging meaningful relationships through small groups. We are a caring Christian community where we: SHARE God’s grace; GROW our faith; SERVE others. The congregation has long been known for its radical generosity, using up to 30% of its financial resources for outreach to the community, nation and world. Numerous outreach ministries, such a transitional housing program, a strong partnership with The Eastside Coalition of Habitat for Humanity, giving aid to scores of area residents in need of help with food, housing or medicine, have been the hallmark of the congregation since its inception.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We value a culture of inclusiveness and offer many ways to explore one's spirituality and grow in faith. Visitors and new members alike cite our hospitality and visible compassion as key reasons for trying, and then staying with, Good Shepherd.
