Gloria Dei Lutheran Church

Gloria Dei is a medium sized church in Downers Grove, IL. (suburban Chicago) We are just north of Downtown Downers Grove across from North High School on Main Street. We have 5 worship services per weekend with open Holy Communion at all 5 services. Saturday 5 p.m. Spoken Word. Sunday 7:30 p.m. Spoken Word. 8:30 a.m. Traditional. 9:43 Contemporary/Casual. 11:00 a.m. Blended. Our 3 core values are worship, service and spiritual growth. Gloria Dei's favorite catch phrase at the close of worship is "Give 'em Heaven!" because we believed people are not scared out of Hell, but they are loved into Heaven!
