Who We Are

Global Harvest Church (GHC) first became an independent body in 1996 -- with the unique vision of being 'a hospital for the hurting, a health club to strengthen the treated ones, and a harvest to reach the world for Christ.'

This '3H' vision plays an integral part in everything that happens within our church community -- from Sunday morning worship services to the small groups that meet during the week.

Jesus taught in Mark 2:17 that "those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." And like a hospital is a place where the sick go to get healed, GHC desires to be a place where spiritual healing takes place.

Health Club

In Acts 16:5, we learn that "the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily." A health club is a place where one can exercise and get healthy. And likewise, GHC strives to be a place where one can exercise and grow their spiritual health.

And in Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus taught his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." The harvest involves reaching out to the lost, spreading the gospel message, and fulfilling the Great Commission. GHC is a place focused on reaching out to the lost through evangelism, community service, and missions.

Our Services

What are services like?
Currently, the Carrollton campus at Global Harvest Church provides two worship services on Sunday morning -- once at 8:15am and again at 9:30am in the main sanctuary. Each service last approximately 80-85 minutes -- followed by church-wide fellowship in the Tommy Gym. Come worship with us!

What is the community like?
What to Expect at GHC Whether it's been a long time since you've gone to church, or you recently moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we understand that visiting a new church can be both uncomfortable and intimidating. Regardless of how you found us, we are happy that you are considering Global Harvest Church. What should I wear to church? We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we want you to be more focused on worship than what you're wearing. Simply come as you are -- we promise that you'll fit in no matter how you dress! Should I put money in the offering basket? At GHC, we never want to pressure newcomers into giving money to a church they aren't connected to. While our members prayerfully give during the offertory time, you are our guest -- so please feel free to let the offering basket pass by. What happens after worship is over? At GHC, most of our members like to congregate in the Tommy Gym after worship. It is our time to get to know new visitors, connect with old friends, and learn about events/ministries that are going on at Global Harvest Church. We'd love for you to join us, so please don't just slip out after the worship service is over! What about my kids? Is there a program for them? Global Harvest Church offers Sunday programs for all different ages: the nursery for infants up to 2 years old, the children's ministry for students ages 3 to 5th grade, and the youth ministry for students in 6th grade to 12th grade. You can find out more about these programs on our Connecting page. Any other questions may be directed to our welcoming team at [email protected]

What if I'm not a Christian?
Getting connected at Global Harvest Church is about relationships that get beneath the surface. That kind of relationship won’t come by simply attending worship services. Whether kids or adults, all of us need time each week with a smaller group of people who can get to know us personally, share life with us, and encourage us to pursue Jesus Christ.
