Who We Are
Global Harvest Church (GHC) first became an independent body in 1996 -- with the unique vision of being 'a hospital for the hurting, a health club to strengthen the treated ones, and a harvest to reach the world for Christ.'
This '3H' vision plays an integral part in everything that happens within our church community -- from Sunday morning worship services to the small groups that meet during the week.
Jesus taught in Mark 2:17 that "those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." And like a hospital is a place where the sick go to get healed, GHC desires to be a place where spiritual healing takes place.
In Acts 16:5, we learn that "the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily." A health club is a place where one can exercise and get healthy. And likewise, GHC strives to be a place where one can exercise and grow their spiritual health.
And in Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus taught his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." The harvest involves reaching out to the lost, spreading the gospel message, and fulfilling the Great Commission. GHC is a place focused on reaching out to the lost through evangelism, community service, and missions.
