The Evangelical Church in San Francisco that welcomes and affirms everyone

Our church began in 1991 by 15 Christians who were Gay who needed a Bible based church that would affirm them as others who were Christian and Gay. Freedom in Christ Evangelical Church is still Bible based and affirming of everyone. We have weekly Sunday services at 4:30pm. Our services are charismatic, vibrant, engaging and encouraging. We have a bi-weekly cell group that meets at the church, every other Tuesday. We are embarking on many exciting and new happenings for 2013. What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are engaging, exciting and energetic. They're filled with worship, music, scripture, prayer and fellowship. Our messages are Bible based and relevant for daily life.

What is the community like?
Our church community is currently compromised of a multigenerational, multicultural group of men and women who love God. At present our community is predominantly LGBT. We hope that in 2013 we will have many additions from other communities join us.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you're not a Christian we welcome you. We are a loving group of people and hope that you will visit us and learn what it means to be a Christian and to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
