John was minister of the church and director of the mission from 1965 to 1968. Our children are Rev. Dr. Matthew Burton, now a United Methodist minister in the Western NC Annual Conference (a daughter, Taylor, who recently moved to Los Angeles CA with her husband Derek. Mark is an engineer with Volvo in Greensboro, NC. He and his wife, Dee, have 2 son, both are students at NC State University. Andrea works at UVA hospital in Charlottesville, VA. Her daughter, Alison , also lives in Charlottsvillle. John and Peggy are both retired. We cherish our time working with the Quechans and would love to hear from some of our friends there, especially Norrine Hill, who worked with John at the mission and was later its director. WE would love to talk with someone at the mission and learn what is taking place there.
