Sermons are biblically based and seek to emphasize spiritual growth and Christian service.
11:00am
At 11:00am, we offer a Contemporary Worship service where we praise God through music, connect with God through prayer, learn about God through scripture and sermon, and experience creative ways of connecting what we learn and how we live through the use of multimedia and contemporary Christian music led by our praise team, Resonate.

What is the community like?
Overall, the atmosphere at our church is fairly casual. We meet at 601 S Greenville Ave in Allen, Texas, for worship in the sanctuary at 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am every Sunday. We have several entrances to the church, and our visitors typically park along the south and west sides of the church on Sundays. Greeters are on hand each week to welcome you and answer any of your questions. Our main information/welcome table is set up in the the labyrinth area, which is located in the approximate center of the church building. We offer free coffee and donuts to our guests. If you'd like to make a donation to Send Hope, one of the missions support by the church, just drop some change in the donation box.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome here. Whether you are new to Allen, new to Texas, new to Methodism, or new to Christianity, or unfamiliar to the Christian faith, coming to a strange place with new faces, new practices, and new music can cause some anxiety and trepidation. However, when you step in the doors at FUMC Allen, we expect you to be greeted by a friendly face who can quickly help you find where you need to go, be it Sunday morning, evening, or during the week.
