Cheryl Taylor
Cheryl was called to First Presbyterian Church of Rockwall in August 2009 after being awarded a Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University. This is her first ordained call. During the years preceding her graduation, she served a number of churches in Grace Presbytery as the Director of Christian Education, and also worked as a part-time hospital chaplain. She is delighted to be able to serve with such a vibrant, welcoming and service-oriented congregation dedicated to spreading God’s love.
Cheryl has been married to her husband, David Moore, since shortly after they both graduated from the University of North Texas. They are the proud parents of a daughter, Kelsey, who is studying for her Master's Degree in Social Work at Tulane University.
