First Presbyterian Church Newport has recently joined the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians Denomination. FPC is a church of strong, evangelical convictions within the Reformed tradition. Our roots especially go back to the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, as we affirm in our life together that we are saved by “grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.”
